About the role
The ADO manager is responsible for an ADO that includes 2 Large, 3 Medium, and 7 Small hub airports. This responsibility includes 199 Federally funded airports throughout the states of Kentucky, North Carolina, and Tennessee, including more than 28 Part 139 certified airports. Supervises the ADO assistant manager and will be the second line manager for the 19 technical staff engaged in administering all aspects of Airports programs. The selectee is responsible for overseeing and directing the implementation of the Airport Improvement Program (AIP) and the Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) program ensuring, at a high level, the appropriate coordination (both internal and external) takes place. The AIP approaches $250 million dollars annually, and the Passenger Facility Charge Program entails more than $204 million dollars in annual collections.
