SUPERVISORY RECREATION SPECIALIST

Responsible for the overall economic and efficient operation of the Outdoor Recreation Program. Administers the business, financial, and recreational operation of the outdoor activities program within established policies and objectives. Oversees a variety of geographically dispersed facilities/activities; and ensures usage does not conflict with policies governing participation. Develops goals and objectives for the Outdoor Recreation Programs which meet agency intent. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships. Generates comprehensive short and long term budgets and fiscal requirements to meet the program objectives and maintain internal control. Evaluates the effectiveness of ongoing outdoor recreation activities from the standpoint of participants' response, resources, unforeseen developments, and program evaluations.
