Lead Budget Analyst

Developing and coordinating budget policies and methods to ensure consistency of approach, validity, and quality in the accomplishment of IC program management objectives. Providing analysis and advice on a range of complex financial matters to program managers and staff including authoritative interpretations of budgetary policy and guidance. Serving as a technical authority on budget formulation and execution. Analyzing new, revised, and/or pending legislation to determine budgetary impact on IC mission priorities; advises senior leadership on budget and financial strategies to meet legislative mandates. Providing guidance on complex budget issues, resolving technical problems, and ensuring consistency in the application of budgetary policies, regulations, and procedures across all IC budget activities.
