Maintenance & Repair Worker - NDOT

The Maintenance & Repair Worker - NDOT is an entry-level position in the Roads Division of the Nashville Department of Transportation (NDOT). Employee works as a member of a maintenance or construction crew performing a wide variety of laboring and semi-skilled duties associated with the maintenance, construction, repair, cleaning and upkeep of county streets, roads and public rights-of-way. Work schedules may be morning, afternoon or evening shifts and could also consist of weekends and holidays. Various shifts will require the employee to work an irregular schedule, including most evenings, occasional overtime. This position is on call 24 hours and is required to respond during declared emergencies or severe weather activities.
