About the role
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Band 3 Geospatial Analysts create, analyze, and interpret moderately complex geospatial data to support U. S. military and policymaker interests. They apply broad knowledge of geographic information science and technology, statistics, spatial thinking, remote sensing, intelligence issues, and the social and physical sciences to characterize events, discover relationships and trends, and produce geospatial intelligence. These analysts select methods and practices to conduct multi-INT research, conduct descriptive analyses, populate and exploit intelligence databases, and produce and disseminate intelligence products. Band 3 Geospatial Analysts develop regional or functional expertise. They maintain relationships with their IC counterparts, international partners, and customers. They may also be expected to support 24/7 operations.
