Mobility Transportation Specialist

The incumbent will be the coordinator for the VA Providence Healthcare System Veterans Transportation Program (VTS). The incumbent will be responsible to communicate with all involved to ensure the program's success to include patients, their care takers, clinicians, Facility Staff, as well as the Senior Management Team. The Mobility Manager will be a critical member of the Transportation Committee. Duties of the position include but are not limited to: Oversees the day-to-day operations of a fleet center having more than 100 vehicles including a variety of special purpose vehicles. Supports the Transit Benefit Program by providing and managing carpool and vanpools. Manages a complicated fleet vehicle operation of high-level fleet activity, security requirements, sensitivity, and weather conditions. Receives new vehicles and assigns to appropriate staff and centers. As a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), manages complex contract shuttle service with off-campus leased parking
