Supervisory Transportation Program Specialist - DIRECT HIRE

The Supervisory Transportation Program Specialist: Serves as Director, Office of Financial Management and Program Oversight in a regional office with responsibility for directing planning, program development, oversight, and administration activities relating to grantee performance and the monitoring of contractors assigned to the performance of available oversight audits and reviews in collaboration with DOT Headquarters Staff. Delegated Authority for coordinating with Senior State and Transit officials prior to and after disasters. Gathers and evaluate damage cost estimates from State and transit officials. Represents FTA, both regionally and nationally, for experience administering emergency relief supplemental appropriations. Ensures that staff reserves and records commitments of and certify funds in coordination with the appropriate Headquarters office.
