Supervisory Contract Specialist (Senior Deputy Assistant Director)

As the Senior Deputy Assistant Director for the Administration Division, the incumbent directs the management of the various branches within the division. This includes programs and activities associated with procurement, site selection, environmental compliance, new construction and expansion efforts, and operations, including its budget and financial programs. The primary role of the incumbent is to serve as the Procurement Executive for the Bureau of Prisons (BOP), with full technical responsibility for directing the development, implementation, and operation of programs, policies, and procedures pertaining to the BOP acquisition and procurement program. The BOP acquisition and procurement program includes support to the Central Office, Correctional Institutions, Regional Offices, and Residential Reentry Management Offices.
