About the role
This position is located in the Northeast Region. The Northeast Regional office ("NER") has responsibility for the Commission's consumer protection mission. NER's consumer protection attorneys investigate and litigate cases to protect consumers against deceptive, fraudulent, and unfair practices across a broad range of products and services in both the traditional and digital economy, build state and local partnerships, and educate consumers and businesses about their rights and responsibilities. Headquartered in New York City, NER serves the residents of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
