About the role
As an Information Technology Specialist (Cyber), you will: Establish, manage, and assess the effectiveness of the Prime Contractor and Naval Reactors cyber security and IT program, ensuring compliance with national policies, Department of Energy orders, directives, and applicable instructions. Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity policies, procedures, and long-range strategic plans that align with mission objectives and enhance the security posture of Information Technology systems. Plan, lead, and execute cybersecurity audits, assessments, and reviews at prime contractor facilities to evaluate compliance with program requirements, directing corrective actions to address identified deficiencies. Analyze intelligence reporting to assess cyber threats and vulnerabilities, overseeing vulnerability testing, network assessments, and the implementation of countermeasures to protect Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) systems.
