TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT (PERSONAL PROPERTY)

Counsels all authorized military and civilian employees of their entitlements for shipment and storage of personal property and privately owned vehicles, including specialized items, to domestic and overseas locations. Prepares and processes applications for transportation or storage of a wide range of personal property and privately owned vehicles, including special items, of authorized civilian and military members. Plans and processes DITY incentive moves for payment through the local Finance office. Responsible for monitoring and operating the Transportation Operational Personal Property Standard (TOPPS) system mini-computer. Assist management with special projects. Performs a variety of administrative tasks in support of management.
