FIREFIGHTER (BLS/HAZMAT TECHNICIAN)

You will perform pre-fire planning by physically going through structures to become familiar with the layout, fire hazards, and location of fixed fire protection systems. You will fight structural fires actively and effectively based on up-to-date knowledge of layouts, potential hazards, and fixed fire protection systems. You will perform duties at airfields handling aircraft carrying large volumes of fuel, conventional and sometimes nuclear weapons, or highly flammable or explosive.
