Registered Nurse (Assistant Nurse Manager Nurse on Duty)

Duties include but not limited to: The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) supports the Nurse Manager (NM) with supervisory duties and responsibility and accountability for the 24/7 operation of the business unit, which consists of NODs (Nurse Officer on Duty), PFC (Patient Flow Coordinators), Hospitality Services, and the Transfer Center. They provide coverage for other ANMs and the NODs as needed. The ANM has responsibility and accountability for the direction and supervision of specific orientation, training, development of staff, and provides input into the evaluation of individual staff performance. Functions as a role model, educator, practitioner, and supervisor providing leadership to the team. Enhances care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team to remove barriers and implement new evidence-based cutting-edge programs/processes.
