Facility Operations Specialist

This position starts at a salary of $76,095.00 (GS-11, Step 1) to $98,928.00 (GS-11, Step 10). Major Duties for this position include but are not limited to: Serving as a purchase card holder or approving official, researching required equipment and materials, developing required forms, and obtaining necessary approvals. Project manager for minor construction and alteration, such as repairs to plumbing or electrical systems, painting or patching walls, or updating fixtures, supporting the project lifecycle from planning to disposal. Developing statements of work for repairs and alteration projects, analyzing contractor work and making recommendations for improvements, and generating project progress reports for review by internal audit and compliance teams. Acting as a liaison with customers, contractors, and maintenance personnel regarding work requests and service needs, as required.
