Maintenance Worker

The Duties of the Position are not limited to the following: Incumbent performs non-complex plumbing work including repairing and installing small water pipes, faucet and drain installation, drainpipe maintenance and repair and related. Completes other plumbing duties by the installation, modification, and repair of utility, supply, and disposal systems, fixtures, fittings, and equipment such as sewage, water, gas, and oil lines, compressed air, vacuum, and acid systems, water closets, water heaters, hydrants, valves, and pumps. Replaces defective pipes that are exposed such as on bathroom fixtures, fittings, and connections. Works independently performing a variety of sub-journey level carpentry trade tasks in the maintenance, remodeling, and repair of equipment at various shop or administrative locations as needed. Plans, performs layout, and accomplishes remodeling, repair or new facilities for offices, shops, storage areas, and equipment, to include, but not limited to assembly of
