CONTRACT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a Contracting Officer for acquisition of significant systems, hardware, software, services, research and development, or contractual programs. You will perform as the focal point for all contractual actions and phases of the acquisition including initial planning, requirements definition, cost and price analysis, negotiation, award, and administration. You will work with representatives of major customers to explain the need for proactive acquisition strategy development and assists them in developing approaches to particular acquisition objectives. You will plan, organize, and direct activities to ensure objectives are met and contracts are executed in a timely manner per established plans and supervisor’s direction.
