About the role
This position starts at a salary of $117,402.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $152,625.00 (GS-13, Step 10). In this position you will serve as an operational manager and subject matter expert in the areas of agricultural and biological threats and related nefarious acts of terrorism. Major duties may include, but are not limited to: Serving as an adjunct analyst or advisor on biological threats and the handling of biological materials. Disseminating information for targeting high-risk shipments, conveyances for examination, and passenger and flight risk analysis to appropriate targeting units. Developing and preparing field-focused information reports, bulletins, targets, and a variety of other written correspondence to support emerging disease monitoring, and detection of related to the biological security of the U.S. Coordinating, developing, and delivering training to internal and external stakeholders.
