About the role

Major Duties of the Park Ranger (Protection) - Records Program Manager position include, but are not limited to the following: Supports parks nationwide by managing law enforcement systems and equipment, coordinating interagency efforts, and advising on complex and sensitive law enforcement matters. Provide training to law enforcement rangers in the field either in person or through virtual/electronic platforms. Develops new strategies, techniques, and procedures to address emerging issues in uniformed law enforcement across the Service. Conduct program reviews and assists parks in achieving compliance with NPS and DOI law enforcement policies, procedures, and standards. Manage records, reporting, and communications related to law enforcement and emergency services; compiles and analyzes data to identify trends and provide recommendations.
