About the role

You will represent the Command and speak on operational and strategic planning interests with planners from outside agencies, local communities, state and federal officials, citizen groups, and professional business organizations. You will provide technical advice and professional expertise on land use related planning issues and coordinate with colleagues to work jointly to resolve issues. You will review and evaluate proposed local development actions or other land use plans and recommend an appropriate command response. You will plan courses of action, prepare interpretive correspondence and issue papers on potential problems or other matters that may impact the Command mission or operations. You will oversee or coordinate a variety of special projects requiring extensive research or analysis and a quick turn-around response.
