About the role
If selected for this position, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and administering the full spectrum of budget and financial management services for the District of Western Pennsylvania. Typical work assignments will include: Developing and maintaining a comprehensive financial management program that involves both short and long-range programmatic plans and annual budget. Preparing annual administrative budgets and budget estimates. Advising management on the planning and development of budget requirements. Managing the certifications of obligations of goods and services. Overseeing the processing of travel authorizations and travel vouchers/claims. Reviews invoices for proper payment eligibility and issues payments within proper timeframes. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
