As a SUPERVISORY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) at the GS-2210-15 some of your typical work assignments may include: Directs, develops, and oversees the agency's Cyber Security, Information, and Technology program, formulating program initiatives in response to critical IT security issues, and implementing new and emerging security technologies. Plans, develops, and coordinates the agency-wide implementation of IT security strategies to protect the IT infrastructure and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) and Zero Trust Architecture. Provides leadership and supervision to a subordinate staff of cybersecurity professionals by assigning work, developing performance plans, and overseeing technical and administrative activities, including managing staff resources, budget, and contracts.
