Plumber

Major duties include, but are not limited to: Repairs Plumbing Systems: The work involves repairing new and existing utility supply, and disposal systems. Repairs equipment such as sewage, water, distribution systems, water closets, tubs and showers. Works from building plans, blueprints, to locate existing utilities and isolation valves of systems and equipment. Uses tools and equipment common to the plumbing trade such, mercury gauges, sewer machines, closet auger, and hydrostatic pumps. Installs Plumbing Systems: Determines and installs valves, traps, and unions needed for proper operation of systems. Installs equipment by completing the routing and placement of systems leading to the equipment, connecting, and testing the equipment. Modifies Plumbing Systems: Modifies systems tapping main lines, and cutting route openings, placing hangers for proper level and slope.
