This position centers on coaching student-athletes who require accountability and mentorship — not traditional instruction. You won't be preparing lesson plans, assigning grades, or delivering academic content. Instead, you'll focus on the core of effective coaching: fostering trust, maintaining accountability, and helping students exceed their own expectations. Texas Sports Academy operates a virtual program in which student-athletes progress through self-directed academic applications while simultaneously building life skills and continuing their athletic development. Your cohort will participate in weekly virtual 1:1 and small-group sessions led by you. You'll help them set priorities, maintain accountability, and identify disengagement early.
