Procurement Analyst

Major duties include, but are not limited to the following: Provides advice and assistance to FAS organizations on acquisition matters to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and guidance to ensure that operating practices are consistent across FAS. Represents the agency at senior level management meetings, working groups, and committees and speaks on behalf of the organization with other key officials in the agency, other Federal Agencies, and private industry. Analyzes, develops, evaluates, and advises on new concepts and developments, methods and procedures to improve the operational effectiveness of FAS organizations in fulfilling assigned responsibilities.
