SUPERVISORY EDUCATION SERVICES SPECIALIST

SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to exercise second level supervisory and managerial authorities, utilizing subordinate team leaders to plan, direct, coordinate, and exercise control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the branch. Directs the candidate guidance and application process of cycle year candidates and cadet candidates, trains admission counselors, applies continuous process improvement to the application procedures for the Air Force Academy, and defines and communicates business processes to information technology for incorporation into the system of record. DUTIES: Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of Selection East Branch ensuring that the cadet application and selections process complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
