Human Resources Specialist (Employee Relations)

Duty locations are limited to the following for this position: Austin, TX; Bay Pines, FL; Durham, NC; Hines, IL; Kansas City, MO; Portland, OR; Spokane, WA; Trenton, NJ or Washington, DC. Current OIG Employees will remain at their current duty location. As a Human Resources Specialist (Employee Relations), you will: Provide day-to-day assistance, interpretation, information and guidance on employee relations problems and issues which affect the function to include organizational goal performance, individual performance, performance appraisal systems, and ER training programs. Develop policies and procedures related to all forms of communication and counseling necessary for effective employee relations, performance management, and reasonable accommodations programs. Evaluate and analyze current practices within the OIG against industry best practices in the private sector and across government.
