About the role

As a Paralegal Specialist at the United States Attorney's office (USAO) for the District of Hawaii, you will provide a wide range of legal support services to one or more Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs) involved in proceedings. Your duties will include: Reviewing and organizing factual material and other documentary data for investigations and trials; Utilizing a variety of automated legal research tools as well as public information databases and other automated resources to research case or program specific legal matters, and participate in assigned area of proceedings; Preparing a variety of trial related documents, e.g., discovery letters, exhibits lists, jury instructions and trial subpoenas; Developing and entering various case material into a computer database; Preparing charts, graphs, and tables to illustrate results; Preparing, developing, compiling, or maintaining jury instructions in preparing for trial; Preparing exhibits for trial which typically involve a wide
