Veterans may need dementia, rehabilitation, long term, palliative and/or hospice care. The LPN must practice resident centered care and participate with the health care team in balancing resident requests and conventional clinical care. The duties listed are GS-6 Full Performance Level, GS-3/4/5 duties will differ in complexity and level of supervision. Nursing Care: Observe, identify, and respond to patient needs for care including medication, equipment-assisted care, and patient/family education.
