IT Specialist (SYSADM/OS)

As an IT Specialist (SYSADMIN/OS), some of your duties will include, but are not limited to: Responsible for planning and coordinating the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and configuration management of hardware and software systems used within a SCADA/EMS real-time power operations system, and/or in support of other assigned program areas. Performs the installation of new or modified hardware, operating systems, and application software. Determines customer, application, and industry requirements, analyzes current systems and new technologies to provide recommendations to customers and IT management. Assists in the development of budget projections used to determine the long-term replacement or upgrade of IT systems. Participates as a member of Regional and/or Corporate IT planning and coordination teams.
