Locksmith Worker

Major duties include but not limited to: Performs troubleshooting malfunctioning key components, troubleshooting with locksmith hardware's, and troubleshoot tumble locks and pin locks. Ability to use key cutter, buffing wheels, bolt cutters, and select the right tools size for the job. Performs safety checks and cost-effective practices to keep equipment operational. Practices pertinent codes and standards of the trades. Performs preventive maintenance inspections to determine safety hazards damage and repair requirements. Utilizes and selects correct materials tools and trade methods for repairs Ability to following specifications of locks and manufacturer templates. Understanding keyed alike or master keyed systems, lock-set, and deadbolt kits. Performs emergency service call for end customers. Ability to organize keys with end users. Ability to order and know what inventory is needed. Aligns the original key with a blank; the machine traces the original while cutting the blank to ma
