Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Hematology/Oncology

The Outpatient Hematology Oncology Registered Nurse exhibits a competent understanding, showcasing proficiency in delivering both direct and indirect nursing care to oncology patients and their families. The Nurse will complete physiological assessments, completes documentation in electronic health record, in accordance to policies and procedures, wound care, care coordination and triages patients. Hematology Oncology Nurse provides a safe working environment while administering, handling, and disposing of antineoplastic drugs and medical waste. Nurses will oversee treatments in the oncology setting, including vascular access devices and infusion treatments.
