About the role
The Department of Gastroenterology at the Margaret Cochran Corbin Veterans Affairs Medical Center (Manhattan VA) is seeking a part time board eligible/board certified advanced endoscopist. Responsibilities include providing consultative and endoscopic services in the inpatient and outpatient setting and teaching fellows in an academic environment. The candidate will be eligible for an academic appointment at the NYU Langone Medical School. The primary duties of the Gastroenterologist-Advanced Endoscopist include, but are not limited to: Performing diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures. Performing advanced ERCP and EUS (rendezvous EUS-ERCP) as well as other advanced therapeutic procedures. This position is for a candidate who has completed a fellowship in therapeutic endoscopy or is proficient in advanced therapeutic procedures.
