Supervisory Investigative Specialist

Oversees and directs the day-to-day operations of a team of Investigative Specialists, who conducts sensitive and complex misconduct investigations, surveys, inspections and evaluations. Directs work; assumes a full range of delegated managerial and supervisory authorities within OI and provides both technical and administrative oversight to subordinate supervisors and staff. Conducts research to produce staff papers, original analytical studies, and assessments for dissemination and/or presentation to field agents and supervisory personnel. Conducts all-source analysis across the investigative programs, with primary focus on investigations involving alleged employee misconduct. Develops and implements new enforcement strategies, briefs senior officials, and other key personnel on a frequent basis. Prepares and presents briefings and conducts staff coordination to gather and disseminate needed information to audience.
