About the role
Directs, develops, plans and implements diverse, high level and high risk recreational training and guided programs, oversees the development and implementation of these programs and lower level programs by full time and part time program staff for the Outdoor Adventure Program (OAP). Directs, develops and implements training operations specifically targeted at program staff professional development, Air Force Services Center official training programs, and coordinates and delivers recreational level training for specialized active duty units requiring mountain and river based programs. Instructs or arranges paid and/or volunteer instructors to conduct classes in various outdoor recreation activities popular by current trends or customer demand.
