Supervisory Facilities Operations Specialist

The duties may include, but are not limited to: Serves as an expert and representative in matters involving existing facilities or proposed new facilities, and develops multi-year planning goals and objectives. Conducts regular and recurring studies and review in order to evaluate the effectiveness of installation operations from the standpoint of utilities management. Responsible, as an item of special significance, through the development and implementation oversight of operational guidelines and maintenance procedures and programming of manpower. Implements and manages a facility-wide accident reporting system, designed to provide complete and accurate information on all accidents. Supervises the maintenance of records and preparation of reports on work-related injuries, illnesses, motor vehicle accidents, and other property damage. Serves as team leader in the investigation of occupational fatalities, catastrophes, and serious accidents.
