About the role
The Executive serves as the Deputy Assistant Commissioner of Acquisition Operations, Office of Centralized Acquisition Services (OCAS), within the Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), of the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). The Deputy Assistant Commissioner serves as the principal acquisitions advisor to the Assistant Commissioner of OCAS. This role is instrumental in advancing the organization's vision and objectives in alignment with the priorities of OCAS, FAS and GSA. The acquisitions managed by OCAS are government-wide in scope, significantly impacting management programs and the delivery of common goods and services across federal agencies. This position reports directly to the Assistant Commissioner for Centralized Acquisition Services, who oversees the planning and management of domestic acquisition programs for federal stakeholder agencies.
