EXPLOSIVE SAFETY SPECIALIST

You will provide direct oversight compliance of the OPNAV mandated Explosive Safety Program. You will develop and conduct regional/local ammunition and explosives safety training. You will inspect and monitor AE facilities, piers, holding areas, combat aircraft loading areas and ranges. You will analyze AE safety gaps/deficiencies, develop clarifying guidance to higher level instructions and review construction design proposals for ammunition and explosives safety compliance. You will represent region at numerous ammunition and explosives safety meetings, prepare correspondence, as well as maintain personnel expertise in AE field.
