ACCOUNTANT

Serves as the technical expert for governmental accounting principles, policy, concepts, and management. Analyzes accounting systems. Directly or indirectly provides the USPFO, NGB, DFAS, Department of the Treasury and senior level management with accurate and timely financial data. Designs database queries written for a variety of software applications and automated systems (i.e., Standard Query Language). Plans and schedules work in a manner that promotes a smooth flow and even distribution. Performs other duties as assigned.
