Supervisory Human Resources Specialist

This Supervisory Human Resources Specialist position is located in the Benefits and Retirement Branch, Human Capital Operations, Human Capital, Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to: Serving as a subject matter expert (SME) over the full range of employee benefits, i.e., retirement, health benefits, life insurance, etc. As such, conducts research and responds to senior TSA leadership, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Inspector General (OIG) and congressional inquiries providing responses and testimony on unique and extremely difficult, escalated issues related to benefits and retirement programs. Considers technical, budgetary, regulatory, and political issues that involve other organizations inside and outside of TSA.
