Safety and Occupational Health Manager

Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, within the Office of Security and Integrity and is assigned based on the need of the agency. Provides independent guidance on the implementation, development and management of industrial hygiene, occupational safety and health, fire protection, life safety, accessibility requirements, environmental compliance and public health programs. Serves as an expert on industrial hygiene occupational safety and health, fire protection, life safety, accessibility requirements, environmental compliance and public health programs. Advises other subject matter experts and key members of management within the agency of the findings. Takes corrective actions to develop and implement measures to eliminate, mitigate or control safety and health hazards.
