Job Summary To prepare for and service funerals; perform general maintenance at all locations of Catholic Cemeteries; a multifaceted position; grounds employees are members of SIUE Local 1 Job Responsibilities • Knowledge of all sections and equipment • Opening and closing of graves and crypts • Tent set up and take down • Service graveside funerals • Placement of casket in crypt, grave or outer container and back filling grave • Install memorial foundations, set or reset memorial work • Disinterment work • General maintenance and Endowed Care work, not limited to lawnmowing, weed trimming, shrub trimming and tree care • Training provided • Other duties and responsibi
