Registered Nurse-Ambulatory Care

The RN position(s) will encompass responsibilities within the Specialty Clinics, providing clinical support, care coordination, patient education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outpatient care. Specialty Clinics include but are not limited to Gastroenterology, Neurology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Rheumatology, Oncology/Infusion, Podiatry, Preoperative, ENT, Orthopedics, Vascular, and General Surgery. The clinic is staffed by providers (attending physicians, mid-level providers), registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing assistants. Duties of this position include but are not limited to the following: Assists with various procedures Provides pre and post in-clinic or procedural education and information about medications Oversees the safety of the patient Documents procedural assessment information Ensures correct labeling of specimens Maintains requirements for reusable medical equipment.
