Job Family : Admitting Representative Travel Required : None Clearance Required : None What You Will Do: The Diagnostic Imaging Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling all diagnostic imaging appointments—including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, and X-ray—for patients served at UAB St. Vincent’s Hospital and affiliated outpatient locations. This role ensures all imaging orders are accurately scheduled, pre-authorization requirements are met, and patients receive clear instructions to prepare for their procedures. The scheduler serves as a vital liaison between patients, referring providers, clinical staff, and radiology departments to ensure a seamless, patient-centered experience. Key Responsibilities: Schedule diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders, departmental protocols, and patient needs. Verify order accuracy, exam type, and required clinical indications prior to scheduling.
