Hourly Wage: $15.00/hour( averages $26 with tips on festival days) • Tips: Split evenly among all staff, including cooks Position: Festival Cook Employment Period: April 5 - May 3 Festivals Covered: • French Quarter Fest: April 15 - April 8 • Jazz Fest: April 21 - May 2 • Between Festivals: Prep days at the restaurant kitchen Work Schedule: • Festival: (8-10 hour shifts) • Prep Days: 8hrs Responsibilities: • Prepare and cook menu items according to festival demands, maintaining high quality and consistency • Assist in pre-festival food prep at the restaurant kitchen to ensure smooth operations during the events • Set up and break down kitchen stations at festival locations • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas, following food safety guidelines • Monitor ingredient levels, minimize food waste, and ensure timely restocking • Follow recipes and portion guidelines to maintain cost control and consistency • Work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment while ensuri
