MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR

- Drives one or more types of medium trucks and special purpose vehicles, such as platform trucks, van trucks, stake trucks, forklift trucks to transport supplies, materials and equipment, which may be equipped with air brakes. - Performs operator maintenance, such as checking fluid levels and air pressure in tires, cleaning and washing of vehicles and performing inspection checklists to ensure safe and proper operation. - Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment. - Performs fleet servicing on AMC and non-AMC aircraft by sweeping and mopping interior flooring of aircraft; cleaning, removing and replacing portable latrines, refuse cans, coffee and water jugs; draining and filling water tanks; cleaning galleys/ATGL's, wash basins and lavatory fixtures - Inventories and receipts for all nonexpendable fleet service equipment aboard inbound aircraft.
