Human Resources Specialist (Classification/Recruitment)

As a Human Resources Spec (Class/Recruitment), you will be responsible for the following duties (If selected at the GS-07 or GS-09 level, duties will be performed in a developmental capacity): Perform position classification work, applying OPM/DoW standards, preparing or reviewing position descriptions, and advising managers on organizational structure and classification requirements. Provide staffing and recruitment support, including developing recruitment strategies, advising on hiring actions, and assisting with short- and long-range staffing plans. Evaluate and maintain HR programs, assessing effectiveness, recommending improvements, and supporting redesign or modification of HR processes to meet agency objectives.
