INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN/INFOSEC)

You will serve as the focal point for the administration and operation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux workstations and servers, to include correcting security vulnerabilities in response to problems identified in vulnerability scan reports. You will plan, schedule, and participate in the installation of new or modified hardware, operating systems, and applications software supporting Joint Typhoon Warning Center operations and administration. You will serve as Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and will assist the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in preparing authorization packages, monitoring system security, managing vulnerability scans, and responding to incidents.
