Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: The Incumbent provides oversight and direction for a broad portfolio of programs, policies, and services addressing the needs and challenges of civilian human capital management while also advising on the strategies and initiatives to achieve the organization's goals and objectives. Responsible for effective management pertaining to the day-to-day (e.g. calendar management, administration, projects, tasks, travel coordination/major-congressional events) administration of staff programs. Reviews correspondence addressed to or through the DASD (CPP) to ensure substantive and procedural quality, accuracy, consistency, and conformance with the DASD (CPP)'s policy and style preferences. Provides critical support services, advice, and guidance on complex issues that are typically unprecedented with scope and objectives that often shift as the work progresses.
