About the role
Manages and maintains the certification database and provides recertification testing when required. Develops general, specific, and practical examinations for each Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) method utilized within the organization. Reviews new technologies and processes applicable to present and future workload. Administers and coordinates internal scheduling of projects with other elements within the Activity. Reviews and analyzes existing programs to ensure special processes are being performed in accordance with locally developed guidelines. Provides Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) consultant services for other commands or agencies upon request.
