About the role
The position is in the Office of Investigations. The following are the duties of this position at the EL-15. (Equivalent to the GS-15) However, if you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties and will receive training to help you grow in this position. As a Supervisory Criminal Investigator (Special Agent in Charge) you will: Work independently and/or collaboratively with others in establishing plans for the execution of the most unique, complex, and sensitive projects relating to the criminal investigative program of the Office of Investigations. Projects may be initiated as the result of inquiries received from members of Congress, as well as any other key internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate multiple phases of a project, or separate aspects conducted simultaneously. Consolidate in-process findings to continually evaluate overall quality and adherence to professional standards, and to determine possible expansio
